SFMTA to reduce service on K & M lines Feb 1, 2025

The most significant change that will affect us in West Portal is that the K Ingleside and M Ocean View lines will run one-car trains on weekends. This change will help reduce maintenance and cleaning costs for train cars. The M and K lines experience less crowding on weekends compared to other rail lines like the N Judah and T Third.

October 12th: West Portal Wine Walk!

It’s time for the Fall Wine Walk hosted by the West Portal Merchants Association. This Saturday, October 12 from 5pm-8pm. The $40/person fee covers multiple tastings of different wines provided by our local merchant Binu Bono, as well as live music. Tickets are available online ahead of the event or can be purchased in-person on Saturday at Armstrong Carpet on the 3rd block of West Portal Ave.
